Deep Fried Gator Bites

Deep fried alligator bites…food you can sink your teeth into!

  1. Cut alligator meat into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Marinate alligator meat in dill pickle juice overnight in fridge.
  3. Remove meat from marinade and pat dry.
  4. Mix chicken fry mix and baking mix together in a bowl.
  5. Toss meat in the fry mixture until coated.
  6. Heat peanut oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or heavy pot.
  7. Fry gator bites in batches, 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drain gator meat on a paper towel.
  9. In a large bowl, prepare the sauce by combining hot sauce, Chick-fil-a sauce, and sweet chili sauce.
  10. Dip gator bites in sauce or coat them in sauce.
